Hiker Passes Away Following Rattlesnake Bite

GOLDEN, Colo. (CBS4) - A man died at the hospital Saturday after being bitten by a rattlesnake.

The bite happened at approximately 12:40 p.m. while the man, who was described as being in his 30s, was hiking on trails in Mount Galbraith Park. That's about a mile to the northwest of downtown Golden.
The hiker was taken to St. Anthony's Hospital. His identity hasn't been released.
