Propane Tanks Explode At Homeless Camp Fire

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (CBS4) - Fire crews in Colorado Springs rushed to a homeless camp near Las Vegas Street and Janitell Road after multiple propane tanks exploded and started a fire.

Investigators say flames were about eight feet high and spread to the trees when firefighters arrived Saturday night.

It took crews about 30 minutes to get it under control.

No one was hurt.
