Police Now Have 2 New Officers Who Have Very Special Skills
LOVELAND, Colo. (CBS4) - Police in Loveland have two new partners on patrol and they are both K9s.
JoJo is a female yellow Labrador from Hungary and Pako is a male Belgian Malinois from Holland. They will help with explosive detection and search and rescue.
"This new capability is the first in the history of the Loveland Police Department and was made possible through generous donations of community members and businesses," the police department said in a statement.
The dogs should complete training early next year.
