Part Of Downtown Denver Cleared After Report Of Suspicious Device
DENVER (CBS4) - Denver police blocked off part of Stout Street between 17th and 15th Streets Tuesday afternoon.
The area was cleared just after 6 p.m.
Police say they received reports of a suspicious device on a light rail train. The DPD Bomb Squad responded, but determined the suspicious device was only a backpack.
RTD says the E, F & H Light Rail trains and MallRide service was stopped. It is unclear when they will reopen. All downtown trains are being redirected to Union Station.
All detours and closures related to police activity at 16th / Stout Station currently remain in place. We will provide updates as they are available. More info available at: https://t.co/LoD0wI4Ld1
