Plane Crash Victims Remain Unidentified After Fiery Crash
PALMER LAKE, Colo. (CBS4) — The coroner still hasn't been able to identify the victims on board a small plane that crashed in El Paso County on Wednesday.
The crash happened near Palmer Lake with two people on board but no other details have been released.
Witnesses said they heard a loud crash and saw the plane wreckage in flames near some train tracks. The fire spread to surrounding grass and burned about a quarter acre in size near homes before fire crews got it under control.
Witnesses said it looked like pilot had lost control.
Investigators say the wreckage is so badly burned they cannot identify a tail number.
