Peter Simon Donates Grand Piano To Regis University Ahead Of Concert

DENVER (CBS4) – Regis University is now the proud owner of a grand piano donated by global concert pianist Peter Simon.

Simon, a Denver native who attended Denver Public Schools, donated his concert grant piano to Regis on Friday to support the university's music program.

Simon will play the first concert on the piano in the Claver Recital Hall on Regis University's main campus Monday night, 7:30 p.m.

"Simon describes himself as a concert pianist/humorist who performs much in the spirit of renowned performer Victor Borge. His unique blend of humor and music continue to entertain audiences around the world," the university said in a statement.

Simon's daughter Chloe is a Regis graduate.
