Pena Boulevard Reopens After Car Crash
DENVER (CBS4) - Pena Boulevard was closed for a short time Thursday morning after a car accident. The closure of the road to Denver International Airport meant travelers were warned to be prepared for longer drive times getting to the airport.
Denver International Airport tweeted an update on the accident at 10:09 a.m.: "One lane of inbound Pena is now open near 56th Ave., but delays are expected as accident cleanup continues. Motorists traveling to DEN are still encouraged to take an alternate route such as Tower Rd. to Pena."
