Pediatrician From Pittsburgh Helps Deliver Baby On I-25 In Colorado Springs

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (CBS4) - A woman went into labor on Interstate 25 and a good Samaritan from out of state helped deliver the baby on Friday.

The baby's father first flagged down a Colorado Springs police officer and then a woman stopped by and asked if she could help. That woman happened to be Dr. Miller, pediatrician with Children's Hospital in Pittsburgh. She was in town visiting her daughter at the Air Force Academy.

The woman helped deliver the baby in the front seat of the family minivan.
