Passenger Records Video Of Emergency Landing At DIA

DENVER (CBS4) - Some United Airlines passengers had a scare after taking off from Denver International Airport Saturday morning.

A tire on the landing gear of the United Airlines plane bound for Kansas City apparently exploded upon takeoff. The prop plane circled the airport until the pilot could safely land.

Passengers aboard the plane were asked to brace themselves during landing. CBS4 viewer Danny Dodge sent CBS4 a video of the landing. It shows what he called a "lot of vibration," but otherwise it was uneventful.

The 71 passengers on board cheered when the plane slowed after landing. They were then put onto another plane.
