No Suspects Found In Tainted Meatballs Case

BOULDER, Colo. (AP) - The Colorado Bureau of Investigation says DNA test results are inconclusive in efforts to track down the person who left tainted meatballs in a Boulder County Park.

Authorities say a chemical that sickened at least three dogs in Gunbarrel is an ingredient commonly used in pesticides and rodent poisons.

Boulder County Animal Control officers say at least eight meatballs were left in a grassy area of the park.

A $4,600 reward is being offered for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the persons responsible.
