New Parking Garage Opens At DIA

DENVER (CBS4)- A new four-story parking garage opened at Denver International Airport on Friday and is expected to ease some parking frustrations for travelers.

The new garage has 1,800 parking spots, cost $45 million and took more than a year to build. It also features more electric car charging stations.

Parking fees are $3 per hour or $24 for the day. Travelers can reserve a spot in advance online.

DIA said the garage was designed to provide more convenient options for travelers who like to park near the airport.

With the new garage, travelers can choose from nearly 17,000 parking spaces near DIA and nearly 45,000 spaces in the satellite lots.
