New Menu Items Unveiled At Mile High

DENVER, Colo. (CBS4) - The Broncos unveiled new menu items Tuesday afternoon that they will serve this season at Sports Authority Field at Mile High, including a new custom craft beer.

Among the signature dishes created by Executive Chef Christopher DeJohn are a taco pizza, Palisade Peach slaw, street tacos, gyros and a Frito Pie that uses former Broncos player (and CBS4 analyst) Mark Schlereth's Stinkin' Good Green Chili.

Brisket sandwiches, elk and bison brats, pizza rolls and more were also showcased.

Breckenridge Brewery made the custom craft, which is, of course, orange to its core.

United in Orange Pale Ale is brewed with orange juice and orange peel, creating a citrus taste that is only slightly hoppy.

CBS4 live streamed the announcement on our Facebook page, talking with Chef DeJohn and brewer Todd Thibault, with a look at all the new food and drink.
