New Director For Colorado Lottery

PUEBLO, Colo. (AP) — Laura Solano of Pueblo is taking over as director of the Colorado Lottery.

She replaces Abel Tapia, who retired.

Solano was business manager at McClelland Children's Foundation. She will report directly to the director of the Colorado Department of Revenue.

As lottery director, Solano is responsible for administration, marketing, sales and other duties. She will be working with the state Lottery Commission, which oversees the lottery.
