COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (CBS4) - New information is out regarding the alleged threat at the Air Force Academy on Friday night.

The Colorado Springs Gazette reports a Nerf gun fight at the school triggered a 911 call regarding an active shooter.

The academy wouldn't comment on the details surrounding the alert.

The campus was placed on lockdown as authorities investigated the claims.

Officials with the academy say more information will be released on Monday.
