Man Charged With Killing Another While Playing Cards

DENVER (CBS4) - The District Attorney charged a man for stabbing and killing another who was playing cards outside of his home.

The DA says 41-year-old Donald Montoya stabbed and killed 57-year-old Georgios Gatsiopoulos in late August.

Gatsiopoulos was playing cards with his landlord when he was stabbed by Montoya.

Days later, Montoya turned himself into police.

He was surrounded by his family as he was arrested and charged with murder.

A motive for the killing has not been released.
