Medina Alert canceled, pickup truck involved in fatal hit & run in Denver located
The Colorado Bureau of Investigation on Saturday afternoon canceled a Medina Alert that was issued after a fatal hit-and-run crash in Denver on Friday night. A pickup truck collided with a person and killed them and then drove away.
The crash happened at approximately 8 p.m. near the intersection of Federal Boulevard and 14th Avenue, just south of Colfax Avenue.
After receiving a series of tips, police located the white Ford F-150 they had been looking for and Denver police said a 42-year-old suspect has been arrested. His name is Francisco Duenas-Colmenares.
The identity of the victim hasn't been released.
