Man Who Recorded Naked Woman In Tanning Beds Gets 8 Years

GOLDEN, Colo. (AP) — A suburban Denver man who broke into tanning booths and secretly recorded videos of naked women has been sentenced to eight years in prison.

The Jefferson County District Attorney's Office says 36-year-old Brandon Alexander Hansen, of Lakewood, was sentenced Thursday and must register as a sex offender. He pleaded guilty in March to 20 counts of burglary and 20 counts of invasion of privacy for sexual gratification.

Prosecutors say there were 20 victims between the ages of 17 and 61.

The investigation began July 28 when Lakewood police were contacted by Denver police who said they found Hansen had numerous videos of unclothed female customers in tanning beds.

According to court records, each of the women was in a private booth with the door closed when Hansen recorded them.
