Man Guilty In 3 Sexual Assaults In Denver Gets Long Prison Sentence

DENVER (CBS4) - A man found guilty in a series of sexual assaults that date back to 2011 was sentenced to a lengthy prison term on Monday.

According to Lynn Kimbrough with the district attorney's office, Isaiah Hunter, 24, was found guilty of one count of sexual assault with force and two counts of sexual assault. He was sentenced to "a minimum of 36 years in prison, in an indeterminate to life sentence."

Hunter was found guilty of three sexual assaults. One took place in February of 2013 on a woman near 30th Avenue and Downing Street; another in April of 2013 on a woman near 26th Avenue and Tremont Place; and the third happened in February of 2011 on a woman near Colfax Avenue and Quebec Street.

He was also ordered to pay $4331.80 in restitution.
