Man Arrested After Gun Found On College Campus

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (AP) — Colorado Springs police say an 18-year-old man has been arrested after witnesses said they saw a man with a gun on a college campus.

Police say Samuel Jackson was arrested Tuesday night after they detained him while they searched the area for a possible weapon. Police say they found an unloaded revolver in a trash can in front of the school doors at Everest College, which specializes in career-training.

According to court records, Jackson is facing charges of possessing a weapon on school property and other charges. No attorney was listed for Jackson in court records.
