Loveland Police Officer Arrested In Child Abuse Case

LOVELAND, Colo. (AP) — Larimer County sheriff's deputies have arrested a Loveland police officer on domestic violence charges involving an underage girl.

Larimer County Sheriff's Office Lt. Andy Josey says the name of the officer will not be released to protect the identities of the victims.

The officer is facing charges of misdemeanor assault and child abuse involving domestic violence.

Authorities say they are continuing to investigate the allegations.
