City Expanding No-Smoking Zones

LONGMONT, Colo. (CBS4) - The city is expanding its no-smoking zones.

City Councilors approved the change Tuesday night.

The outdoor smoking ban now covers the entire city block where the Longmont Public Library and Civic Center are located.

The city is also expanding its no-smoking zones outside the Longmont Senior Center and the Saint Vrain Memorial Building.

Violators could be fined up to $500.
