Police Rescue Injured Owl From Southwest Longmont
LONGMONT, Colo. (CBS4) - Police in Longmont rescued an injured owl over the weekend. Officers Kaplan and McCarthy found the owl on the southwest side of town on Saturday.
The owl had injuries to its legs and was taken to the Birds of Prey Shelter in Louisville. Officials said the bird will likely be returned to the area where it was found once it heals.
If you find an injured bird of pray, officials say you should contact a local rescue center or police and fire dispatch.
