Longmont Police Arrest Second Stabbing Suspect

LONGMONT, Colo. (CBS4) - Police in Longmont have arrested two men they say are responsible for a stabbing that sent a man to the hospital.

Two suspects vandalized a 34-year-old man's car at 10:30 p.m. on Friday after a fight inside an apartment at Mountain View and Summer Street, according to police. When the victim confronted the two men he was beaten and stabbed.

Police say the suspects are James Kramer, who was arrested after being spotted inside a grocery store, and Bradley Hofmeyer, 30, who was arrested on Saturday evening in the 1800 block of Antero Drive after police got an anonymous tip.

Longmont police spokesman Jeff Satur thanked the public for providing tips and helping police with the "arrest of two dangerous suspects within several hours."

The victim was being treated for serious injuries and is expected to survived.
