Lockheed Martin Now 3D-Printing Protective Gear For Health Care Workers
LITTLETON, Colo. (CBS4) -- Colorado's Lockheed Martin is shifting some of its production to make much-needed protective gear for our health care workers.
With some of the same 3D printing technology used to make parts for spacecraft, engineers are designing and building medical face shields.
They're also making medical gowns.
This is all happening at Lockheed's Waterton Campus in Littleton, and employees say they're more than happy to do their part.
