Littleton PD respond to burglary at Littleton High School, woman in custody, classes delayed
Just before 6:30 am Friday morning the Littleton Police Department responded to an active burglary at Littleton High School. About 30 minutes later, Police tweeted that they had taken a woman in her 30s into custody without incident and soon after cleared the school and it deemed it safe.
The woman, 32-year-old Christine Ward, was charged with Second Degree Burglary and Theft.
Littleton Public Schools says out of an abundance of caution, additional police will be on campus today, they also moved start times one hour later to 9:26 am to give staff and students a little extra time to arrive. Buses will run one hour later for Littleton High, as well.
