CU Considers Asking Applicants About Sexual Orientation
BOULDER, Colo. (CBS4) - The University of Colorado wants to better gauge it's LGBTQ community.
One option the university is considering is asking those who apply to the school to disclose their sexual orientation.
Officials say answering would be completely voluntary and won't affect the student's chance at admission.
Officials also say other universities that ask that question and have better student services for that community.
