Le Central Restaurant Closing After 34 Years

DENVER (CBS4)- The closing of Denver's affordable French restaurant has those who love French cuisine searching for a new place to eat. Le Central is closing after 34 years.

The popular restaurant at 8th and Lincoln will be closing its doors on Sept. 13 but it could be earlier than that.

In an email to regulars, owner Robert Tournier, 65, said it's simply time to stop after spending more than 40 years in the restaurant business. He said one year in the restaurant business equals three human years.

The building has been sold but the folks at Le Central say they don't know what is next for the location.
