More Unsettled Weather Ahead for Wednesday

By Ed Greene

DENVER (CBS4) - A cool, gray day with fog in the foothills and scattered storm across the state with a few splash and dash showers moving through the Denver Metro area. With the clouds and cooler weather sliding down from the north, the official high for Denver reached 68 degrees at the airport, but downtown the high was just 60 degrees! Scattered showers overnight with a low in the mid to upper 40s by morning, then mostly cloudy skies on Wednesday - again with scattered storms and showers - but a milder high into the mid 70s.

Thursday we begin to dry out with only isolated storms or showers and a high in the low 70s; isolated storms again Friday with a high back in the lower 70s. For the weekend ahead: partly cloudy, maybe an isolated late storm Saturday, high in the mid 70s; partly sunny and dry for Sunday, high 79 - and that is the normal high for this time of year.
