Lakewood Police Search For Car Connected To Drive-By Shooting

LAKEWOOD, Colo. (CBS4)- Police in Lakewood searched for a car connected to a drive-by shooting early Saturday morning.

The shooting happened about 2 a.m. Saturday when someone fired shots into an apartment in the 2600 block of S. Sheridan Boulevard.

One man was struck by gunfire and rushed to the hospital for non-life threatening injuries. Another person inside the apartment was not hurt.

Detectives are investigating the shooting to determine whether it was a random act or if the victims were targeted.

Detectives have obtained surveillance footage that shows a white, four-door sedan that may help the investigation.
