Longmont Woman Accused Of Threatening To Shoot Tow Truck Driver

LONGMONT, Colo.(CBS4)- A Longmont woman has been arrested after she allegedly threatened to shoot a tow truck driver she thought was trying to repossess her vehicle.

Lourdes Kouzougian was mistaken but remained in custody on attempted murder charges.

"She had threatened to shoot me in the head if I had come to repo her car," said tow truck driver Brady Jacoby.

Jacoby was waiting for his next job in a parking lot on Saturday when he said Kouzougian, 59, walked out of her house, crossed the street and pulled a shotgun out of her clothing.

"Comes clear up here and is standing here with the shotgun pointed right at me," said Jacoby.

Jacoby said she told him to leave because she was afraid he would repossess her the Lincoln she had parked in her garage. Just a week earlier Jacoby had told Kouzougian's neighbor his company does not handle repossessions.

When asked if he was worried for his life, Jacoby replied, "Oh yes, you don't think about it."

He continued, "To have the business end of a shotgun pointed in your face it definitely gets your heart going. My heart rate and pulse was going clear up to an hour and an hour and a half later."

Jacoby said as he drove away, he believes Kouzougian pulled the trigger but didn't hit his truck.

"She just had that weird look to her, on edge... could snap at any point," said Jacoby.

Neighbors told CBS4 that Kouzougian recently lost her husband.
