JeffCo Sheriff Investigates Double Shooting In Conifer
CONIFER, Colo. (CBS4) - The Jefferson County Sheriff's Office is investigating a double shooting in Conifer Thursday night. Officers were called to the 11000 block of Blackfoot Rd. just before 9 p.m.
Investigators say two people were shot and taken to the hospital. One person's injuries were described as non-life threatening and the other's condition is unknown.
On Twitter, officers said they are searching for three suspects who may be on foot.
Update: Three suspects involved in shooting. May be on foot. There is a danger to the public. Search underway. Residents in area are to shelter in place or report to Safeway if unable to get home. All others asked to avoid area.

The sheriff's department said there is a danger to the public. A CodeRed alert was sent to 200-300 people who live in the area, asking them to shelter in place.
Anyone in the area unable to go home is asked to go to the Safeway at 27152 Main St. in Conifer.
