Interstate 70 Rockfall Mitigation Could Cause Traffic Delays Up To 30 Minutes Near Dumont

DUMONT, Colo. (CBS4)- Crews will be working on rockfall mitigation work on Interstate 70 this week. The area of focus is east of Dumont, past Idaho Springs.
Crews will be stopping traffic periodically in both directions near mile marker 236 on Tuesday and Wednesday of this week.
The traffic delays will happen between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. Drivers should plan for delays of up to 30 minutes.
