Identity Of Stabbing Suspect Released

BRIGHTON, Colo. (CBS4) - A man was found dead Thursday night and the person suspected of stabbing him was arrested. That suspect has been identified and remains in custody.

Deputies in Adams County were called to a Family Dollar store at 7067 Pecos Street at approximately 5 p.m. Thursday. That's where they found a victim with stab wounds.

They say the stabbing suspect, later identified as Anthony Dennis Grayson, never left the scene of the crime. He allegedly remained inside the Family Dollar, and surveillance cameras helped deputies identify him.

The victim died after being taken to the hospital. So far it's not clear if the two people involved were customers or employees of the store.

Grayson, 42, has been charged with first-degree murder and remains in custody at the Adams County Detention Facility.
