Several Crashes Prompt Safety Closures For I-70 Mountain Corridor
(CBS4) - Multiple crashes and snow caused different safety closures along the Interstate 70 mountain corridor Tuesday afternoon. The Colorado Department of Transportation says drivers should expect long delays.
Drivers heading west are being turned around at Georgetown, CSP says.

Eastbound and westbound traffic was stopped at Vail Pass for a time, but has since been allowed through.

A CBS4 viewer shared video of several crashes along the interstate near Copper Mountain. One vehicle was completely overturned in the median.
Colorado State Patrol says there are multiple crashes between Silver Plume and the Eisenhower Johnson Tunnels.
Chain and traction laws are also in effect.
