I-70 Closed, Reopens, Closed Again: Both Directions From Airpark Road To Limon

ADAMS COUNTY, Colo. (CBS4)- The Colorado Department of Transportation closed Interstate 70 from Airpark Road to Limon in both directions on Tuesday but that stretch reopened less than three hours later before it closed again just after 6 p.m. All lanes of I-70 were closed once again for a crash.

There is no estimate on when I-70 will reopen.

CDOT said the initial closure was due to safety issues because of multiple crashes and weather conditions.
