Hundreds Brave The Cold For 'Amazing Race' Casting Call In Aurora
AURORA, Colo. (CBS4) - A big line of people formed outside Sports Authority at Southlands on Thursday morning hours before a casting call opened for the hit reality CBS show The Amazing Race.
Auditions were set to begin at 10 a.m. at the store, located at 6305 S. Main Street, near South Aurora Parkway and Orchard Road.
Temperatures were hovering just above zero Thursday morning, and people in line had large sleeping bags and multiple layers, but everyone seemed excited.
On The Amazing Race teams of two from different parts of the country compete in a race around the globe for the $1 million prize.
Last spring two women from the Denver metro area competed on the show's 22nd season and wound up finishing third.
