Homicide Victim In Burning Car Was Shot, Identified

JEFFERSON COUNTY, Colo. (CBS4)- Investigators say the homicide victim whose body was discovered in a burning car in Jefferson County was shot. He also has been identified.

The man has been identified as Jason Michael Dosa from Parker. An autopsy revealed that Dosa, 44, suffered from gunshot wounds.

The body, later identified as Dosa, was found inside a burning sedan down a steep embankment near the 9500 block of Cougar Road in the Deer Creek area about 11:40 a.m. Sunday.

Once the fire was extinguished, the remains of Dosa were found inside.

Dosa's family says he was married with two children, according to a GoFundMe site set up to help the family. It describes him as a "light in this world and was looked up to by so many."
