Homes Evacuated In Red Feather Lakes Area Due To Wildfire
LARIMER COUNTY, Colo. (CBS4) - A wildfire that broke out in the Red Feather Lakes area in Larimer County Wednesday night has forced evacuations.
According to the Larimer County Sheriff's Office, the Bear Trap Fire is approximately five to seven acres and crews from multiple agencies are working it.
Notifications were sent to approximately 136 contacts in the area instructing them to evacuate. The number of threatened homes is unknown.
The Red Cross set up a shelter at Livermore Community Church, 284 West County Road 74e, for those displaced by the fire. 12 people utilized the shelter Wednesday night.
