Homeowner Shot To Death After Confronting Vandals

PUEBLO, Colo. (CBS4) - A man in Pueblo was killed after confronting vandals on his property.

The 32-year-old victim was found in an alley behind his home early Tuesday morning by officers responding to a shots fired report.

Police say the man saw a group of people vandalizing his house with gang graffiti. When he approached them, he was shot.

The victim's name hasn't been released.

Police are still searching for the suspects and haven't released any descriptions.

Police are reminding everyone to never confront criminals and instead call 911.
