GREELEY, Colo. (CBS4) - A strange situation at the University of Northern Colorado in Greeley forced administrators to close Butler-Hancock Hall. A homeless person climbed into the rafters and wouldn't come down.

The university sent out a message about the closure on their Facebook page at 7:30 a.m. Thursday. They said police were negotiating with the man, who wasn't armed.

An emergency text also went out to students on campus about the situation.

Eventually police were able to get the man down and into protective custody.
