Halloween Decorations Stolen From Front Yard

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (CBS4)- A family in Colorado Springs hopes a Halloween grinch will have a change of heart after their decorations were stolen out of their yard.

Liam Graham loves Halloween. The 10-year-old spends his own money to buy the decorations to make his family's yard the very best place for trick-or-treaters.

Someone swiped his prize decorations this week, an inflatable Pac-Man chasing ghosts.

"I got upset that somebody had taken a piece of what I like to enjoy away from me," said Liam.

"He called me last night and said, 'The only reason I do this is because people drive by and smile and now they're not going to smile," said Liam's mom.

Now his parents take some of those decorations inside at night and turn off the decoration lights to prevent more loss.

"He does tons of chores around our house, his dad's house, the neighborhood, anything he can do to try and earn money to buy these decorations," said Liam's mom. "You stole these decorations from a 10-year-old kid, you didn't steal these from an adult."

The family hopes the scary Pac-Man shows up, no questions asked.
