Grass Fire Burns Near Walsenburg

WALSENBURG, Colo. (CBS4) - A fire that was described as being 2,000 acres is burning near the southern Colorado town of Walsenburg.

The fire wasn't near structures and no injuries were reported.

As of daybreak on Friday firefighters said there was no containment on the fire. More than 20 firefighters were assigned to fight the fire.

Gusty winds had firefighters concerned the blaze could spread.

The fire is believed to have started when winds blew over a box trailer that was being pulled by a pickup truck.
