Several Highway Accidents Cause Morning Traffic Delays

DENVER (CBS4) - A rollover accident on U.S. 36 at Pecos Street slowed traffic Tuesday morning.

One patient was transported to the hospital in unknown condition after the car landed on its roof.

Fire crews worked to wash away fluids from the flipped vehicle. All eastbound express lanes of U.S. 36 remained blocked as of 6:30 a.m.

Traffic slowed in the westbound lanes of U.S. 36 as well, likely curiosity slowing.

Another accident Tuesday morning on Interstate 25 caused big delays near Alameda Avenue.

The two left southbound lanes were blocked by a car that hit the middle concrete barriers. A flatbed arrived shortly after 6:30 a.m. to load the car. Backups extended to the Mousetrap.
