Firefighters Contain Fire Burning In Deer Creek Canyon That Destroyed Cabin
JEFFERSON COUNTY, Colo. (CBS4) - Firefighters rushed to a wildland fire in Deer Creek Canyon on Wednesday morning. It was fully contained just a couple of hours later.
The fire burned about one acre before it was 100 percent contained just after noon Wednesday.

Several fire crews were on scene including one brush engine, one water tender and two overhead personnel from South Metro Fire Rescue.

A short time later all crews from South Metro were called off the fire.
Crews with Jefferson County tweeted an update on the fire that had not grown but remained at zero percent containment.

One cabin burned in the fire.
It was unclear whether there were any injuries. What caused the fire is being investigated.
