Female Suspect Wanted In Golden Stabbing Arrested
GOLDEN, Colo. (CBS4)- The female suspect wanted in connection with a stabbing and home invasion in Golden was taken into custody on Friday night. Authorities continue to search for Cody Aaron Jones, also wanted in the attack.
The female suspect has only been identified as a 19-year-old female. Her name has not been released.
Police say three intruders hit the wrong house, putting the whole family in danger. The female allegedly drove the getaway car.
Jesse Swift, a teacher at Bell Middle School, suffered serious stab wounds while fighting off the suspects Monday night.
Police continue to search for a fourth suspect, Cody Aaron Jones, 20. He is currently on probation for second-degree burglary charges, obstructing a police officer and theft. Jones also has an active nationwide warrant for his arrest on another case.
Police arrested Caleb Williams along with a 17-year-old juvenile male in connection with the stabbing Monday night. Williams remains in the hospital with stab wounds he received from Jesse Swift during the altercation.
The 17-year-old suspect's name has not been released.
