Evergreen Lake Opening Delayed Despite Frigid Temps

EVERGREEN, Colo. (CBS4)- The opening of Evergreen Lake to ice skaters has been delayed despite this week's sub-zero temperatures.
Evergreen Lake has ice measuring about four to five inches thick. That's a little under half of what is expected before opening the ice to skaters.
The Evergreen Lake House is hoping to open by Dec. 22.
The opening was delayed because of recent unseasonably warm temperatures.
