Driver Suffers Medical Issue, Drives Off Embankment In Colorado Springs

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (CBS4) - Firefighters were called to the scene when two cars went off an embankment in Colorado Springs Monday morning.

The crash happened at the Hope Depot near North Academy and Pikes Peak. The firefighters were able to get the drivers to safety.

According to KKTV, witnesses said the man was swerving all over the place and hit several parked cars before crashing over the embankment with another car and into a storage facility below.

The driver reportedly suffered from a medical condition and was hospitalized.
