'Suspicious Package' At DIA Deemed Non-Hazardous

DENVER (CBS4) - Denver police responded to the west side of Level 5 at Denver International Airport. The area was closed off as a precaution.

After several minutes, police say the package was checked and deemed non-hazardous.

Police say the airport operated as normal otherwise.

Details about the package have not been released, but police investigators say law enforcement dogs "alerted" to the bag, and a bomb squad was called into investigate.
