Denver Sports Castle Among 3 Colorado Sports Authority Stores To Close
DENVER (CBS4) - At least three Colorado Sports Authority stores are among 140 the company is planning to close nationwide, an official with Sports Authority confirmed on Wednesday.
One of the stores that will be closed is the Sports Castle on 10th Avenue and Broadway in downtown Denver.
According to the source, the stores will be closed over the next three months.
The other two Colorado stores that will be shuttered are located in Greenwood Village and Boulder. It's not clear if the company is planning on closing any other Colorado stores.
The Sports Castle was previously owned by Gart Bros.
Sports Authority has approximately 450 stores across the nationwide.
