Man charged with murder and kidnapping after alleged shooting in Montbello area
The Denver Police Department says a man is custody after one person was found dead following a shooting near Durham Court, which led to a short pursuit on I-70.
Authorities say a report was received of a shooting on the 4700 block of Durham Ct. as the victim was dead on arrival. The suspect, who was identified as 43-year-old, Clemente Flores-Hernandez, fled the scene after abducting the victim's grandson and was followed by a witness.

Hernandez was apprehended by authorities after a brief pursuit on I-70 ending near Strasburg.
The child was recovered during the arrest and was uninjured. The investigation revealed the incident began as a domestic dispute.
Hernandez is being held for investigation of first-degree murder, first-degree attempted murder, and first-degree kidnapping.
A medical examiner will release the identity of the victim.
